Thematic plan of state budget scientific research projects (SRP)
The thematic plan of research projects realized at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University and funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in 2017 consisted of 13 projects, including 10 fundamental research projects (amount of funding 2,633.572 thousand UAH) and 3 applied research projects (amount of funding 846.728 thousand UAH). In 2017, four new projects were launched.
In general, there are 10 specialized research areas at the University out of 24 areas defined by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. They are: Mathematics; Chemistry; Literary Studies, Linguistics, Art Studies and Social Communication; Informatics and Cybernetics; Mechanics; Philosophy, History and Political Science; General Physics; Biology, Biotechnology and Actual Problems of Medical Sciences; Law; Electronics, Radio Engineering and Telecommunications. The research projects in General Physics were resumed in 2017 after a 4-year break.
