In 2016, 5 specialized scientific councils functioned at the university, including 1 council for defending doctoral and candidate’s dissertations and 4 councils for defending candidate dissertations in 8 specialties (2 for defending doctoral and 6 for defending candidate’s dissertations).

In 2016 19 dissertations were defended at the University’s specialized scientific councils, including 17 candidate’s and 2 doctoral ones, which is 5 more dissertations more than a year earlier.

In 2016, there were no dissertations, defended at the University’s specialized scientific councils, which would be rejected by the Ministry of Education’s Certification Board.
